About Us

Deb Wenzel and Viki Ryan of RyanWenzel Events have been following a dream they had in college. Both Public Relations majors and minors in communications and advertising, these sisters wanted to form their own special events company and put on spectacular events for their clients. Since 2006 that is what they have been doing.

Deb Wenzel: Event Designer, Graphic Design Guru and Marketing

Deb started her career after college working for Carillon Properties in Kirkland. She worked on their special events, graphic design, and marketing. After a few years she enhanced her skills working for a small special events company, where she mainly focused on the marketing for the Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair. She finished up her experience before opening RyanWenzel Events at the Supermall in Auburn – where she was in charge of events, marketing and advertising while also working an additional year in marketing for the Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair.

Viki Ryan: Event Designer, Event Producer, Marketing and Public Relations

Viki followed her passion for sports after college and landed a job in marketing and advertising for the Seattle Sport and Social Club, after a few months on the job Viki was promoted to Director of the Seattle office where she ran everything from special events, sponsorship, accounting, marketing, advertising, payroll to facility rentals. After a year of experiencing everything at once she accepted a position at Kemper Development Company (Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square) as the events and tourism manager. Enjoying five years with Kemper Development and being part of the conceptual and inaugural team of Snowflake Lane, Viki joined forces with her sister and opened RyanWenzel Events. Viki is also a proud mother of two wonderful girls.

RyanWenzel Events:

The duo has been operating RyanWenzel Events since January of 2006. With a passion for what they do and appreciating every year they are in business – they live by the fact that no project is too small or too big. Producing large scale annual events such as Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection since 2006 to smaller breakfast meetings or fundraisers and auctions, they enjoy each project they take on.

Deb and Viki work well together complimenting each other’s strengths. Deb handles all of the graphic design work – from logo design, to event and marketing collateral. Deb also assists on event design, marketing, media buying and public relations. Viki, on the other hand, stays away from graphic design and focuses on event production, marketing and public relations. Both enjoy the flexibility they have with their company and the various projects they get to work on.
